SUMMER TERM 2011
We had a really worthwhile week to highlight being kind to the environment once again this year. We concentrated on some new projects that included and Eco orienteering task on Monday. On Tuesday, Years 3 and 4 went litter picking in the park and the Infants concentrated on the School Grounds. We found less evidence of litter than last year. Everybody enjoyed our Cycling day on Wednesday and learnt the importance of safety while tackling various obstacle courses. On Thursday, the whole School took part in an Eco picnic on the yard at dinner time where the emphasis was on healthy eating and reducing waste. By the end of the week, the children had all written a line towards and Eco poem which is now displayed near our Eco table. Go and have a look if you have the chance!
SPRING TERM 2011
Year 2 pupils are learning how to behave road safety, with their weekly Kerbcraft tuition with the assistance of voluntary parents and a member from Carmarthenshire County Council.
We raised the profile of Earth Hour in School this half term. It took place for an hour on Saturday night March 26th where people all over the world switched off their lights to remind people about global warming. Every class did activities about this.

AUTUMN TERM 2010
The Eco committee decided to add and amend one aspect of the old Eco code. Our new code is displayed around the school and in the community.
We pride ourselves on receiving the third green flag.
Thank you to Sarah Crossley and family who kindly donated a tree to the school. Former pupils from her school year returned to join us for the planting ceremony.
